Man wounded in Nashville Saturday
A Nashville man is recovering from a weekend gunshot wound, and a Mineral Springs man faces charges.
TJ ‘Demitrius’ Thomas, 27, black male, Mineral Springs, faces possible charges of first degree battery and felon in possession of a firearm after he allegedly shot James McFadden, 27, Nashville, at a residence here, early Saturday morning.
McFadden was wounded in the chest. He was taken by privarte vehicle to the emergency room at Howard Memorial Hospital, then was transferred to a Little Rock hospital. Nashville criminal investigator Larry Marion said he had spoken to McFadden who was apparently recovering.
The shooting occurred at about 4 a.m. at 732 Dillard St., Nashville. Officers responded to a 9-1-1 call and learned that the shooting occurred at a family member’s residence after an altercation between the two men.
