The Nashville Scrapperettes defeated Prescott 53-25 in a non-conference game Monday night.

Kassidy Snowden led Nashville with 12 points. Hannah Vines scored 11, and Maddie McJunkins had 10.

The Scrapperettes jumped out to an early lead and substituted freely in the second half. Nashville led 41-19 after the third quarter.

Nashville will open District 7-4A play Tuesday, Dec. 11, at Bauxite.

Mena Tournament

The Scrapperettes won their opening game of the Mena Tournament Nov. 27 by defeating De Queen 56-44.

Vines was the leading scorer with 18 points, followed by Snowden with 15, Shayla Wright with 12 and McJunkins with 7.

Nashville lost the semifinal game against Mena 53-48, despite 21 points from Snowden.

The loss put the Scrapperettes into a consolation round game with Dardanelle. The Lady Sand Lizards won 59-44.
