A Dierks woman has been arrested and charged with felony sexual assault in the first degree, according to a press release from the Howard County Sheriff’s Office.

Amy D. Fennell, 36, was arrested on Dec. 31 by Investigator John Eric Glidewell, who served the warrant on Fennell.

Judge Tom Cooper set Fennell’s bond at $100,000. She is currently in the Howard County Jail awaiting her first court appearance on Jan. 3.
