The Nashville Junior Scrapperettes and Scrappers won a pair of games against De Queen Jan. 3 at Scrapper Gym.

The Scrapperettes defeated the Lady Leopards 23-19.

Nashville trailed 13-8 at halftime, but the Scrapperettes outscored De Queen 15-6 in the second half to take the win.

KeeKee Richardson was the leading scorer for Nashville with 7 points. McKayla Vines was second with 6 points, followed by Kendall Kirchhoff with 5, Mattie Horton with 3 and Tiyonna Garland with 2.

In the junior boys game, Nashville defeated the Leopards 42-34.

The Scrappers scored 10 points per quarter in the first half and 11 per quarter in the second half to secure the win.

Darius Hopkins led Nashville with 18 points, followed by Trey Hughes with 9. Winland Ogden added 7, and DeAjeon Armstrong had 6.

The Nashville junior teams will travel to Ashdown Jan. 10.
