Alma Carolyn Ramsey, 79, of Nashville, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2013.

She was born Nov. 15, 1933, the daughter of the late John Fred Bowen and Irene Lucille Bowen.

She was preceded in death by one grandchild, Leanna Henderson; two sisters, Fred Irene Sexton and Connie Bateman; and three brothers, William “Bill” Bowen, Joe Bowen, and Richard “Dick” Bowen.

Survivors include:  two sons, Joe D. Ramsey and wife, Patricia of Tujunga, Calif., and Fred J. Ramsey and wife, Terri of Trabuco Canyon, Calif.; a daughter, Jackie Ramsey Watkins, and husband, David of Flower Mound, Texas; two brothers, Landrum Bowen of Bellingham., Wash., and Arnold Bowen of Murfreesboro; also grandchildren.

Memorial services were set for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9, at the Kingdom Hall  of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Nashville.
