Junior Scrappers defeat Ashdown
ASHDOWN – The Nashville Junior High Scrappers won a pair of games against Ashdown Thursday night.
The Scrapperettes defeated Ashdown 36-22.
Nashville led 16-10 at halftime but outscored Ashdown 20-12 in the second half.
KeeKee Richardson was the leading scorer for the Scrapperettes with 15 points. Maddi Horton added 9, followed by Hannah White with 5, McKayla Vines and Ali Barfield with 2 each, and Tiyonna Garland with 1.
In the boys game, the Scrappers won 38-36. Ashdown led 19-12 at halftime, but the Scrappers outscored the Panthers 26-17 in the second half.
DeA’jeon Armstrong led Nashville with 9 points. Winland Ogden and Jordan Williams scored 8 each. Trey Hughes had 7, and Darius Hopkins had 6.
