The Murfreesboro Police Department is back down to two full-time officers following the recent resignation of Jarrod Reid.

Chief Randy Lamb said Reid submitted his resignation Friday, Jan. 25 and cited “personal reasons” for his departure. Reid, who is originally from Kirby, was hired as a full-time officer in March of 2011.
