Olen Hanney, 74, of Nashville, died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013 in Nashville.

He was born Oct. 28, 1938 in McCaskill, the son of the late James Grover and Cornelia Rhodes Hanney.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Harrod Hanney; and two brothers, Charles Hanney and H.C. Hanney. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include: two sons, Frankie Hanney and wife, Nancy, of Nashville, and Richard Hanney and wife, Melissa, of Lockesburg; a daughter, Barbara Clements and husband, Freddie, of Nashville; a brother, Lloyd Hanney of Nashville; also grandchildfren and great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were to be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2012 at Avery Chapel in  McCaskill under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home of Nashville, with Daniel Robinson officiating.

Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12 at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
