Obituary: Juanez Riddle Fugitt
The family of Juanez Riddle Fugitt, of Murfreesboro, announces her passing on Feb. 23, 2013 surrounded by her family. She was 85. She was born on March 6, 1927 in Murfreesboro, Ark. She was the daughter of Robert A. (Bob) Riddle and Daisy House Riddle.
She was a member of the Church of Christ in Murfreesboro. After her retirement as a USDA poultry inspector, she loved to work with and for the Senior Citizen Center in Murfreesboro. She loved to cook, sew, and travel when she was able. Some of her greatest joys were her yearly mother-daughter excursions and the many special times, she spent with her son, Tommy. Her peanut brittle was second to none and chocolate pies were perfect. The angels in heaven will be celebrating her arrival, but those left behind will be missing her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Walter Fugitt, an infant son, four sisters, and a brother.
She is survived by a son, Tommy Fugitt and wife, Arlene of Nashville, Ark.; four daughters, Judy Roberts and husband, Gordon of Murfreesboro, Ark., Marla Stewart and husband, Randy of Kirby, Ark., Charlotte O’Neal and husband, Les of Benton, Ark., Cindy Hill and husband, Len of Alexander, Ark.; 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her very special caregiver, Ladonna Pinson of Murfreesboro.
Services were held at the Murfreesboro Church of Christ on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013 at 10 a.m. with Bro.Tommy Mounts officiating. Burial followed at Pleasant Home Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro.
The family received friends at the funeral home, Monday, Feb. 25, from 6-8 p.m.
